Though WWE put considerable effort into promoting its upcoming Madison Square Garden live event on this week's episode of Raw, the show isn't currently scheduled to air on WWE Network or Peacock.

This is according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson. WWE will have cameras at hand should they be required, allowing them to film as they please, but while the situation may be subject to change, don't expect the MSG show to stream.

WWE returns to the iconic New York City venue on 5 March. As confirmed on this week's Raw, Brock Lesnar will defend his WWE Championship against an as-of-yet unnamed opponent on the show.

Raw established this during its opening segment. Lesnar started the show with an in-ring promo, celebrating his Elimination Chamber 2022 triumph, when he was interrupted by former manager Paul Heyman. Bobby Lashley is currently in line for the MSG title shot, though Heyman claimed he'd find a suitable replacement should the legitimately injured 'All Mighty' be unable to compete (this will likely be the case).

Per Johnson, WWE mentioned the Madison Square Garden show on Raw to help drive ticket sales and further Lesnar's impending WrestleMania 38 program with Universal Champion Roman Reigns. By the last count, WWE had sold 5,316 of the 9,581 tickets made available for 5 March:-

It'll therefore be interesting to see if the Lesnar announcement helps push that number up.
