It’s Official: THIS Was WWE’s Most Hated Moment Of 2020

6. Asuka Vs. Sasha Banks – Raw Women’s Championship Match (Raw - 27 July 2020)

Dislikes: 8K

It seems crazy that two wrestlers as popular and skilled as Asuka and Sasha Banks could find themselves on a list like this, particularly one driven by WWE's consumers, but such was their feud. Excellent in-ring action was regularly hampered by sh*tty finishes as the bookers got in the way of the performers. Should-have-been classics were rendered frustrating disappointments on a near-weekly basis.

This was one of them.

Distracted by Bayley beating up Kairi Sane backstage, Asuka ran backstage, dropping the Raw Women's Title via countout. That this came just over one week after a stinker of a finish at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules (when Bayley threw on a referee's jersey and declared Banks the winner - and the champion) made it even worse.

Having last booked it at Survivor Series 2020, WWE needs to say away from Sasha vs. Asuka for a while. The bullsh*t is still too fresh in the memory.
