It's Time For NJPW's Super Jr's To Headline Wrestle Kingdom

Set Some Realistic Expectations for Jericho Vs. Tanahashi

Look, I'll be the first to say it: I'm hella stoked for some Painmaker vs. Ace drama this January at the Tokyo dome. And I'd be surprised if it doesn't get booked to main event the first night. That's not to say we'll get an instant classic, though. Jericho plays to the crowd better than anyone in America and the same could be said for Tana over in Japan, so this is very much Icon vs. Icon.

But do you really think the in-ring stuff will come anywhere close to the spectacle sure to be had in the Jr. Heavyweight Championship match?

Not a damn chance. And, for someone who has carried the weight of the company on his shoulders in such spectacular passion for a year straight I ask you again: why not let the Jr. Heavyweights capture the main event at Wrestle Kingdom?
