John Cena: 12 Shocking Videos He Doesn't Want You To See

10. The Rapping With The Bull

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQPSJRJzF9M In early 2003, WWE had the idea to repackage John Cena as an over the top rapper, dressing him in a range of ghetto outfits and having him cut promos. As part of this they also paired him with the hapless Bull Buchanan, who became known as B-2 with the idea that it sounded 'street'. Looking back, there's only one feeling John must have about this short lived run, and that's embarrassment. "Yo, since when did the meadowlands become a place for mexicans, go back to home depot, become one of their hired hands" he says with casual racism. The whole gimmick was just a bomb, the silly clothes, the silly raps, always ending with B-2 shouting "Boo ya!" It didn't take long for WWE to realise they were booking Cena into oblivion. They changed things up, making his dress sense cooler and doing away with the over the top pimp style outfits. The raps also became more refined and B-2 was released just a couple of months after the gimmick started. The 2.0 version of Cena was significantly better, allowing him to get over and build the foundation for a 15 title career.
