John Cena: 12 Shocking Videos He Doesn't Want You To See

11. The Prototype

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIAKnGujUVM "I am fifty percent man, fifty percent machine, you are one hundred percent fatality!" John Cena first broke into pro wrestling in 1999, appearing in the California based UPW. His appeal was pretty obvious, the guys was an absolute genetic freak, bulging in muscle from his competitive bodybuilding days. How did Cena see his character developing? Well, given his muscular frame, he decided he was a robot. This led to promos like the one above in which he delivers some of the cheesiest lines and movements you're ever likely to see. The embarrassment is increased by the bleach blonde hair, which he had thankfully ditched by the time he debuted for WWE in 2002. His attempts to sell the idea that he's actually a robot and the robotic movements he portrays are laughable. The video was part of a Discovery Channel documentary into aspiring pro wrestlers. No one could quite have predicted just how huge a career 'The Protoype' would go on to have.
