John Cena Rumoured For BIG Rematch At WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Will THIS wrestler be John Cena's opponent on WWE's next special in Saudi Arabia?

WWE is lining up a bumper rematch between John Cena and Roman Reigns for next month's Crown Jewel special in Saudi Arabia, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The Wrestling Observer chief was using guesswork there, but he believes the money match is exactly what WWE needs to make the next Saudi special feel grand. Cena and Reigns previously clashed back at SummerSlam 2021 for the Universal Title - Roman won that round, and he'd likely do so again if Meltzer's pitch comes true.

JC is currently poised to team with LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa on this weekend's Fastlane PLE. Beyond that, he could be lined up opposite Reigns again. That'd fit in with the ongoing Bloodline battles, if nothing else, and would give Saudi's money men a marquee match to advertise at Crown Jewel.

It is important to note that this is all just speculation on WOR. WWE hasn't confirmed who Cena will wrestle in Saudi Arabia, but he was touted for the event a while back. Could a reprisal of beef between Cena and Reigns be the ticket on 4 November?
