John Cena Will Be Guest Co-Host On "Today Show" Next Week
The US Champ will appear live on the popular morning talk show.

John Cena will be a guest co-host in New York City on NBC's Today Show for the 9amET hour on Monday, August 17 and Thursday, August 20.
Cena, the current WWE United States Champion, will be there to promote WWE SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York on August 23.
Cena hasn't been on WWE Raw for the past two weeks due to a broken nose that required surgery, but is set to return on Monday in Minneapolis. He'll have plenty of time to fly from NYC to get to the show where he will do his best to promote the big Title vs. Title match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
In addition to that, Cena will also be a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC during the early morning hours of Friday, August 21 at 12:35amET according to WWE.com.

Since WWE programming airs on NBC Universal networks like USA Network and Syfy, their performers often appear on NBC shows in order to cross promote the shows.
A big reason why WWE chose the New York City area for SummerSlam was because of all the media opportunities that are available there. It's the same reason it was in Los Angeles for several years. Having Cena on the Today Show will be a great way to talk about SummerSlam while also promoting WWE's family friendly product.
