Doing his usual routine, he threw his t shirt to the crowd. It was immediately thrown back. We hadn't seen anything like this in wrestling before and it was shocking to see. Cena was further embarrassed when he tried again, only for it again to be chucked back in the ring. Another attempt and this time the shirt was torn and spat upon before ending up back in the ring. Not one person in the 2,500 crowd wanted anything to do with Cena's merchandise. As embarrassing as that was, the top babyface star of WWE being disregarded, it was at least explained away by the fact that Cena was in front of an ECW crowd. Cena spent the rest of the match getting toilet roll thrown at him and had to endure loud chants of "F**k you Cena" and "You can't wrestle".
