It came as little surprise to fans when John Cena bested JBL for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 21, ending a drawn-out, boring reign and cementing himself as the new face of Smackdown. In WWE, though, things are rarely settled so easily, and JBL managed to earn a rematch with a victory over Kurt Angle -- a rematch which Cena demanded be held under "I Quit" rules.

The bout was a bloody brawl that many fans who only knew Cena as the figurehead of the PG Era would be shocked to see. Cena's elaborate entrance saw him ride out to the ring in a flatbed truck with a DJ remixing his theme song, and soon, the fight was on. Both men hit their finishers and both were busted open with shots from weapons, but still, nobody would quit.

When the two men fought up to the truck, Cena gained the advantage. Tearing an exhaust pipe from the truck, he brandished it at JBL, who immediately quit to save himself from injury at the champion's hands. Though the bout was over, Cena struck JBL with the pipe anyway, knocking him off the truck and through a glass panel.
