Why did the AEW star end up back on WWE programming?
Jon Moxley has explained what led to his accidental cameo on the 27 March episode of WWE Backstage.
As wife Renee Young's was hosting the show online with Booker T and Xavier Woods, Mox burst in and appeared on camera for a second or two before leaving. His sudden, unplanned showing got a laugh out of both Booker and Woods, but Renee caught flak from WWE for the incident.
That was something Moxley told PWInsider, and now he's dishing the details on exactly why he showed up at all.
According to Jon's recent follow up interview with Wrestling Inc, he didn't know that Young was hosting Backstage when he muscled in. He was roaming the couple's house when he heard the dog barking, and got as much of a fright as anyone when he realised what was going on.
Mox was only trying to figure out why the dog was making so much noise.
He didn't stick around for long once he clicked that Renee wasn't just catching up with friends and was actually working. Oops. That might be a lamer comeback than CM Punk's Backstage drop-in.
