Kane: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

1. Kane vs Fake Kane - Vengeance 2006

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pPqucmEdEc On paper, this had everything going for it. Kane was set to star in the film See No Evil, a horror film where he played the sadistic killer known as Jacob Goodnight. It was a fitting role for his character, and offered the potential to tie the film into his WWE character. It was good business. But as the May 19th release date of the film came ever closer, it became clear that the WWE's attempts at crossover fiction left something to be desired. A phony Kane, played by future Straight Edge Society member Luke Gallows, appeared and began taunting him. Dressed up in Kane's original ring gear, the fake Kane storyline continued through to Vengeance 2006. It was a confusing and rather boring match, which the live audience showed their displeasure with. Kane vs Fake Kane went down as a stinker on an equally lame PPV card. This should have been an epic and incredible confrontation, filled with the same sense of drama that an Undertaker vs Kane match has. By tying it in with Kane's film, it absolutely should have worked. But it was written in such a silly and contrived way, that no audience was buying it. The story was quickly and thankfully ended, but it's difficult to scrub the terrible memories of this match from your mind. There's sure to be some great Kane matches that I didn't mention, as well as some bad ones. Let's hear your best and worst Kane match in the comments.
