Kane can be blamed for a lot of things, but Triple H deciding to don his mask and climb into a coffin isn't one of them.

This was undeniably a watershed moment in the career of the 'Big Red Machine', though (and one that, for obvious reasons, couldn't be shown until after the watershed).

It would perhaps have done his main event prospects less harm had he actually then won the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy and in turn proved, beyond doubt, that 'The Game' had failed to get inside his tortured mind.

But, since he lost, there's a small part of you that wonders whether the story about Katie Vick was true after all, and Kane was all of the sudden weighed down by the guilt of it all.
