A truly thrown together tag team, Rob Van Dam revealed in a 2014 interview that his team with Kane came together in that most old-fashioned of ways; by turning up to work, seeing the sheet and being told that, "tonight you are tagging with so and so." Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Kane and RVD worked sufficiently to get a tag title run out of it all.

A 76-day run no less, and the story between the two came to an end with Kane shockingly being unmasked on 23 June 2003. The duo beat Chief Morley (Val Venis) and Lance Storm for the titles, and eventually dropped them to La Résistance, a team that no one truly enjoyed.

Kane and RVD were a 100% thrown together team that worked somewhat, mostly due to RVD's weird charisma and the fact that no one really knew what to make of Kane in 2003.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
