In a fantastic main event, last night’s AEW Dynamite saw AEW World Champion Kenny Omega successfully retain his title against underdog challenger Jungle Boy.

With the Good Brothers, Dan Callis – who took up a spot on commentary – Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus all immediately ejected from ringside as the match got going, Omega vs. Jungle Boy was pegged as a one-on-one affair to see who was the better man.

Of course, Gallows, Anderson, Stunt, Luchasaurus and even Frankie Kazarian would resurface before all was said and done, with the Best Bout Machine eventually putting Jungle Boy away with his patented One-Winged Angel.

The match itself was a fantastic showcase for one of AEW’s biggest stars and one its greatest young talents, and JB did more than just hang in there with a man many consider the very best on the planet; Jungle Boy brilliantly countering an earlier One-Winged Angel for a great near-fall, while also so nearly getting the better of Omega with the Snare Trap submission.

Post-match, Kenny levelled Jungle Boy with the AEW World Title, only for Christian Cage to make the save. Unfortunately for Captain Charisma, though, Matt Hardy, Private Party and the Young Bucks all arrived on the scene to leave him laying as Dynamite went off the air.
