One of the greatest things about Angle is his competitive spirit. He's always had the desire to be the best by going up against the top guys in the business and proving that he was as good as them, if not better. He showed it against Steve Austin in 2001, Shawn Michaels in 2005 at WrestleMania 21 and a year later when he pinned The Undertaker clean at No Way Out 2006 too. There are obviously many other big names in WWE and even in TNA where he had a classic rivalry with Samoa Joe too. Every time he faced off with people considered among the best, he proved just how great he was. Right now, Daniel Bryan is considered the best wrestler in the world. It's not a reputation he earned simply because he's the WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now. It's something that has happened over the years as more and more people realized just how talented he was. Even before his WWE days, people were talking about a match between Angle and Bryan. It hasn't happenedyet. We know that Bryan grew up a huge wrestling fan with a lot of respect for the best that the business has to offer. If he was presented with the chance to face off with Angle that seems like something he would absolutely do. Angle has spoken about wanting to face him too, so if Angle does end up in WWE hopefully it happens. Bryan's mostly likely going to be in the babyface role for a long time. Angle could face him in a babyface matchup or he could go heel, but it may be difficult for him to get booed by WWE's fans since he'd the biggest legend on the roster. How awesome would it be to see two of the best submission wrestlers in WWE history have a classic match? If the great Kurt Angle does end up going "home" here's hoping that this dream match becomes a reality.
