Further details have emerged on the All Elite Wrestling talent meeting held before last week's episode of Dynamite.

On Wednesday, Fightful reported AEW had scheduled a 4:15 PM EST meeting following the chaos of All Out 2022, where CM Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite brawled after an inflammatory press conference. Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley were due to lead it.

The same outlet later reported that there was a "positive vibe" after the meeting, which brought an air of "out of sight, out of mind" to Sunday's events.

Now, Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the get-together went well. One source called it the best meeting of this kind they had ever attended, understanding that AEW's brand had sustained damage that needed to be repaired. Even before the meeting, people understood they had a show together and Wednesday was "business as usual."

By the time it was over, people had put Sunday to the back of their minds, looking forwards, not backwards. Some courses stated, meanwhile, that they were proud to have delivered such a strong television show together after a tumultuous few days.

Some wrestlers were understandably upset with how things had gone down prior to the meeting. Most left the meeting looking forward to the future.
