Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

22. Blue Démon, Jr.

Pros: - Heir to one of the greatest lucha libre legacies of all time - Former NWA and AAA champion - Currently heading up some kind of lucha mafia with Chavo Guerrero Cons: - Has only appeared a few times - Nearing 50 - Cannot compete with the younger talent Blue Démon, Jr. is the most traditional luchador on the LU roster, the adopted son and namesake of the original Leyenda Azúl. He's also the Original Rudo; his father was originally a blood rival of El Santo, Mexico's biggest wrestling hero of all time, and that evil is a part of him as well. He's spent the majority of season one entangled with the affairs of Chavo Guerrero, defeating him in episode one, being nearly murdered by him in episode two, and returning to attack him for revenge during Aztec Warfare. He was supposedly pulling the strings behind the scenes during Chavo's exile from Mexico, but as of the season finale the two have patched up their differences and aligned with the Crew to form some kind of lucha mafia, maybe? It's super unclear, but that's the best possible use of Blue Démon at this point. The guy is almost 50, and he's realistically no match for LU's younger stars. Casting him as the Mexican HHH with his own personal Authority is a smart move. Final Rating: ***1/2
