Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

12. El Texano, Jr.

Pros: - Youngest and longest-reigning AAA Mega Campeon of all time - Hails from one of Mexico's biggest wrestling dynasties - Wields a bullrope like a duelist's rapier Cons: - Never got his revenge on Alberto El Patrón - Sometimes comes off as a pastiche of Alberto - Ended the season at the mercy of Blue Demon and Chavo Texano is currently one of Lucha Underground's biggest heroes, which is super weird. When Texano first appeared in the Temple, it was as this blue collar supervillain trying to murder Alberto El Patrón, but circumstances seemingly conspired to distract him from his mission. First, there was his budding villain friendship with Cage and King Cuerno, then his blazer beef with Daivari, and now his feud with Chavo Guerrero and Blue Démon, in which he's somehow become a heroic personification of Mexico despite changing no part of his behavior. He's basically a lucha analog of Stone Cold Steve Austin at this point, and his Bret Hart is Blue Démon. And instead of clearing the ring with Stunners, he does it by wildly swinging an impossibly thick length of rope at manslaughter speeds. Hey, maybe he's actually lucha Stan Hansen. Final Rating: ****1/4
