Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Mascarita Sagrada
- Possibly the most insano mini you will ever see - Can somehow literally bounce like a super ball - Unafraid to tackle opponents many times his size Cons: - Has appeared sparingly in the latter half of season one - Hasn't defeated any top-shelf talent - I'm not sure which Mascarita this actually is If your only exposure to little wrestlers is Hornswoggle being a literal cartoon leprechaun, it may surprise you to learn that in Mexico, they have real matches, and JBL is rarely there to wonder aloud if they're human. Thankfully, that's the approach Lucha Underground has chosen to to take in importing Mascarita Sagrada, the premier mini in all of Mexico. There have been many Mascaritas over the years -- the current El Torito was one -- and it's unclear which performer is under the hood when he performs in the Temple. What is clear is that this Mascarita has a plentiful supply of heart, fighting spirit, athletic ability, and comedic timing. Whether he's bouncing around the ring, avoiding opponent's frenzied grabs like a renegade superball, or getting hurled to the outside only to casually hit a huracanrana to another guy before he hits the ground, Mascarita is something special. Personally, I would have given Bengala's medallion to Mascarita, but we all have our favorites, I suppose. Final Rating: ****1/4
