Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Alberto El Patrón

Pros: - Lucha libre royalty - Former WWE and World Heavyweight champion - Current AAA Mega Campeón Cons: - Hasn't actually won very much - Now wrestles in a t-shirt for some reason - Is no longer managed by Ricardo Rodriguez The former Alberto Del Rio arrived at the Temple like a monsoon, riding an immense wave of goodwill based on the circumstances of his WWE exit. In an arena full of people who respect and understand the traditions of lucha libre, and with Mexico's most prestigious championship in tow, El Patrón stands revealed as the Mexican Bret Hart analogue WWE tried to tell us he was. That said, El Patrón hasn't actually racked up too many W's at the Temple. Even his first big showdown with Texano ended in a disqualification ropefight, and his big matches with Hernandez had iffy finishes. I get that he's the top star of LU's partner/parent promotion so you have to protect him, but his only significant win has been over Johnny Mundo, and even that resulted in Johnny's epic heel turn and Berto getting Barbershopped. In their rematch at Ultima Lucha, Alberto stood tall over a bloodied Mundo, but it was Johnny who won the match. Final Rating: ****1/4
