Cage is the most stereotypically American-style wrestler that they could find without actually poaching from WWE. He's got it all: the dumb catchphrase, the constant screaming, the steroid physique and the casual disrespect for the traditions of others. He even got to illustrate that by literally tearing the original Lucha Underground championship in half a la Superstar Billy Graham Cage has objectively had one of the best seasons in all of Lucha Underground. He pinned Prince Puma once in a non-title match, and only lost the title match because Konnan showed up with a cane with the power of Thor's uru hammer. He's a freakish athlete, reminiscent of early period Scott Steiner, and he's also been known to take ungodly amounts of punishment and keep coming. His match with the Mack at Ultima Lucha really showed that his rage and aggression, coupled with his unreal strength, make him truly a force to be reckoned with.
