Could the Man soon find herself a free agent?

Following the news that Drew McIntyre is still yet to agree a new deal with WWE, there's now also an update on Becky Lynch's status with the market leader.

Via PWInsider, Lynch's WWE deal is believed to be expiring in about eight weeks, with no extension having been agreed upon at this time. This follows comments from Becky herself last month where she noted how she was entering the final two months of her existing contract.

While Becky Lynch and Drew McIntyre are two top stars whose WWE deals are set to expire in the next couple of months, others in the same position are Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Natalya. That all of these names are nearing free agency is said to be one of the major reasons why WWE released now-former EVP of Talent Dan Ventrelle last week, with Chris Legentil and Matthew Altman partly replacing Ventrelle - and Legentil and Altman having established relationships with talent, in turn hopefully making the signing process a smoother one.

Of course, the pre-Endeavor days of WWE saw the company usually tie stars down to new deals a year or more ahead of a contract's end date. That hasn't been the case in recent months, although the latest rejig of its Talent Relations suggests WWE is looking to address the issues of letting members of its roster get so close to free agency.
