One of the busiest names in the industry, Thunder Rosa was yesterday one of several AEW faces in action at Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling's Summer Sun Princess' 22 event from Tokyo's, Japan's Ota City General Gymnasium.

Facing off against Miyu Yamashita, not only did La Mera Mera lose this back-and-forth battle, but Rosa had earlier offered an AEW Women's Title shot to Miyu should she end up with the W here. After getting the 1-2-3 with a cradle, Yamashita exchanged a handshake of respect with Thunder and pointed to the top prize of AEW's women's division.

Clearing up any doubts over a potential rematch, a post-match interview from Thunder Rosa saw the star reiterate that she is a woman of her word and that Miyu Yamashita will indeed be getting the chance to challenge for the AEW Women's Championship at some point down the line.

As of this writing, neither Tony Khan nor AEW have made any comment on this matter.

Yamashita does have previous with AEW, having tagged with Skye Blue in a losing effort against Nyla Rose and Serena Deeb on an episode of Dark: Elevation this past June, and it could well be that she'll be returning to All Elite Wrestling for that promised rematch with Rosa.
