Mr. Fuji: Ranking His WWE Managerial Clients From Worst To Best

14. Sika & Kamala

As one half of The Wild Samoans, Sika and his partner Afa are three-time WWE Tag Team Champions, and were inducted into the WWE Hall-of-Fame in 2007, the same year as Mr. Fuji. Both competitors initially left WWE after their tag run, but Sika opted to return to the company as a singles competitor in 1986, and was originally managed by Curtis Iaukea.

Sika gained little traction as a singles competitor, and started teaming with Kamala shortly after. For his part, Kamala was one of the most feared “foreign menace” characters in wrestling history, and he’d returned to the company at the same time as Sika. Mr. Fuji acquired their managerial contracts to round-off a heel stable that also included Don Muraco, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, and Killer Khan.

Unfortunately for them, Sika and Kamala were playing bit part roles by this point. Orton and Muraco were Fuji’s preferred title-challenging unit, so Sika and Kamala had to be content playing second fiddle. Sika did enter a brief feud with Hulk Hogan in 1987, but his appearances with Mr. Fuji were fleeting at best, he made little progress up the card, and was released shortly after. Kamala, meanwhile, left WWE after feuding with Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts.
