Mr. Fuji: Ranking His WWE Managerial Clients From Worst To Best

13. The Moondogs

Mr Fuji Yokozuna
WWE

The Moondogs are one of the most bizarre acts in professional wrestling history. Known for their ragged blue jeans, unkempt hair, beards, and for carrying (and chewing) animal bones around with them, the stable featured literally dozens of members over its lifespan, and they were a regular presence in WWE throughout the 1980s.

Like the other names mentioned thus far, Mr. Fuji only managed the Moondogs for a very brief period of time. This came early in his managerial career shortly after ending his affiliation with Jim Neidhart, and while The Moondogs were former WWE Tag Team Champions, this came four years prior to their 1985 affiliation with Mr. Fuji.

Mr. Fuji and The Moondogs accomplished very little together, making the ‘Dogs one of Fuji’s least notable sets of clients, and little more than a footnote on his epic career. It ended in 1985, Moondog Rex eventually became Demolition’s Smash, but the other members (King & Spot, at the time) found little success before leaving WWE.
