NEW AEW Tag Team Champions Crowned At All Out 2020
Is this the end of Hangman and Omega?
At last night's All Out PPV event, FTR defeated 'Hangman' Adam Page and Kenny Omega to become the new AEW Tag Team Champions.
After weeks of mind games, the team of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler (accompanied by Tully Blanchard) finally achieved their goal of becoming AEW's new top tag team. The former WWE stars were able to come out on top after nailing 'Hangman' with two ferocious spike piledrivers.
However, the key talking point coming out of the bout was what this meant for Omega and Page going forward. The combustable duo had remarkably held onto the belts for 280+ days, but their time as a unit seems to have come to an end in the wake of this result.
Moments after the bout's conclusion, Omega threatened to attack his beaten partner with a ringside table. Yet, he ultimately chose not to and instead left his fallen friend in a heap after failing to physically support him. Backstage, Omega then informed the Young Bucks that he was 'done' and abruptly left the arena.
Could this be the beginning of the end for the Elite? We'll have to tune into Dynamite on Wednesday to find out.
