WWE higher-ups believe that top star Bianca Belair will return "in the early stages" of 2026. Currently, there are some backstage in the office who are optimistic that the 'EST can actually beat that projected timeline and launch a comeback on Raw or SmackDown even earlier than that.

Bodyslam.net reports that folks behind the scenes think Bianca popping back up on TV early next year is realistic. For context, Belair has been on the injured list since breaking a finger during her critically lauded Triple Threat bout with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY back at WrestleMania 41 in April.

Bianca has been backstage for select recent WWE shows, but she obviously hasn't appeared on camera as of yet. That likely won't be happening at all until she's ready to make a full on comeback and get stuck into storylines again. On that front, there's still some unfinished business between Belair and old pal Naomi (who is currently on maternity leave), and fellow ex-tag partner Jade Cargill just turned heel before becoming the brand new Women's Champion by beating Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event on 1 November.

Perhaps a match or 2 with Jade could be in the pipeline heading into WrestleMania 42 season.

Belair's Injury 'Worst You Can Get'

Recent reports revealed that Bianca's finger break was roundly considered to be one of the worst WWE medics had ever seen, and most were shocked that the wrestler herself was able to be so calm about things. Her laid back reaction to the injury downplayed it - the company didn't think she'd be out of action as long as she been.

Many onlookers "blew up backstage" when they got a good eyeful of the damage. Meanwhile, those stunned by how relaxed Belair was commented on her toughness. Even so, nobody was taking any chances. It was a bad break, and it needed immediate attention.

The injury was so brutal that it's even affected Bianca's knuckle. Apologies to anybody wincing as they read that!
