While Jade Cargill is now the WWE Women's Champion, many have wondered when we might see Jade's former partner Bianca Belair back in action on WWE programming.

For those unaware, the reason that Bianca has been absent from WWE since WrestleMania 41 is that she broke a finger in that 'Mania match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley; arguably the best match of the entire WrestleMania Weekend.

When asked about the E.S.T.'s potential return during a recent Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp noted how she was in town for last week's SmackDown, though obviously she didn't appear on camera. As for the injury itself, SRS added that the finger break was one of the worst that you can get, with it so bad as to actually affect her knuckle.

People in WWE didn't expect the injury to be as bad as it was, largely due to how Bianca Belair herself reacted to it backstage. As Sapp points out, though, Bianca's reaction was simply due to her being tougher than most. The sight of the injured finger "blew up backstage", with people coming over to take a look at it.

It's worth noting that this initial answer from Sean Ross Sapp was written on 1 November, though there hasn't been any additional information on Bianca's return to the ring in the days since that.

Given how Jade Cargill has recently turned heel and took the WWE Women's Title from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event, a Cargill vs. Belair rivalry writes itself. Purely your writer spitballing here, but that's a rivalry that you could heat up nicely for WrestleMania 42, having Jade go on a tear from now until then, and Bianca getting some solid momentum behind her as and when she returns to the ring, before the two then clash at the Showcase of the Immortals.
