New Details On Miro's AEW Contract

How long is Miro signed for, and can he work with NJPW?

It sounds like Miro has scored himself a pretty sweet deal with All Elite Wrestling.

The former Rusev debuted on this week's episode of Dynamite, cutting a short shoot promo on WWE's "glass ceiling" and "brass ring" after being introduced as Kip Sabian's best man. Pro Wrestling Sheet was quick to report that Miro had signed a contract stretching for longer than one year.

Fightful Select has now come through with new details, stating that Miro has signed a long-term contract pending options for extension. On top of this, Miro has full permission for work for New Japan Pro Wrestling while with AEW and will also be permitted to hit the indies, should he please to do so. The dates can't clash with his AEW schedule, however.

The deal is described as being similar to Jon Moxley's in that Miro won't be able to work United States shows for NJPW.

Miro was one of dozens of WWE independent contractors either released or furloughed as part of the promotion's mass cuts on 15 April, ending a 10-year association with the promotion. He was comfortably the biggest name to be let go - and it's good to see him finding a new home.
