Nick Khan First In Line To Replace Vince McMahon In WWE?

Here's what's likely to happen should Vince McMahon ever step down in WWE.

Vince McMahon shows no sign of slowing down as WWE's do-it-all Chairman, CEO, and more, even after turning 76 years old in 2021, but when he eventually does, Nick Khan will likely take the reins.

Speaking on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that unless WWE opted to recruit a replacement from outside the company instead, Khan would probably end up assuming control.

Khan has been with WWE since August 2020. Brought in from the Creative Arts Agency, where he served as co-head of television, he came in as a President and Chief Revenue Officer following a wider corporate shake-up that saw long-serving executives George Barrios and Michelle Wilson leave the company.

It was reported upon Khan's appointment that he would be reporting directly to Vince. This has been proven correct, with Nick assuming an influential role in the promotion, playing a considerable part in WWE's continued and ongoing financial success since he came in.

McMahon recently returned to WWE television in a mentorship role with Austin Theory, adding to his ever-growing list of responsibilities. There is no word on how long this will last.
