There may not be a mightier set of wrestling dads than Rey Mysterio, Jushin 'Thunder' Liger, and Hiroshi Tanahashi. Though the trio's best days are unquestionably behind them, each is still an excellent performer, and their influence and allure endure.

Dominion 6.9 saw them face off against the Bullet Club trio of Cody, Marty Scurll, and Hangman Page. A step down from the Liger vs. Mysterio one-on-one originally pegged for Strong Style Evolved in March, but it was fun regardless, and worth watching for the novelty of seeing three transcendent veterans teaming up alone.

The match felt like a showcase for Mysterio, who clearly has something bigger in the works. Though he spent only a few minutes in the ring, Rey looked sharp, fast, and focused. It's clear that the former WWE Champion has enough left for a couple of blow-away singles bouts, and it'll be exciting to see what NJPW has planned.

Cody scored the victory on his team, nailing Liger with the Cross Rhodes for the finish. A fun six-man buffer between the Heavyweight Tag and Junior Heavyweight Title matches.
