NJPW G1 Climax 2018, THE FINAL WEEK: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Juice Robinson Vs. Hirooki Goto (August 11)

Kenny Omega Kota Ibushi
NJPW

Rating: ***1/2

With the exception of eventual winner Hiroshi Tanahashi, few others have maintained babyface purity throughout the G1 quite as well as Juice Robinson. Mixed results from a win/loss perspective haven't interfered with robustly consistent performances as the one-handed hero.

Hirooki Goto has too had moments of pure magic, with his loss to the IWGP United States Champion not scratching the surface of his epic with Tomohiro Ishii until an exhilarating conclusion that furnished Robinson- Right Hand Of God and all - with the happy ending he deserved.
