NJPW G1 Climax 2018, Week 2: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

19. EVIL Vs. Bad Luck Fale (22 July)

Hangman Page Kazuchika Okada
NJPW

Rating: **1/2

Failing where his partner hadn't, Evil succumbed to the the interference of Fale's Tongan troublemakers before Los Ingobernables de Japon made the save to help set up leader Tetsuya Naito's upcoming Block B battle with Tama Tonga.

The match did at least proffer one cathartic clean-up - the referee attempted to clear the ring of the bodies left from the six-man war whilst Fale had EVIL pinned, but a Tama Tonga Gun Stun on the LIJ member intentionally ruined what had almost been recovered.
