A strictly okay effort from ‘The Ace’ alongside a Togi Makabe appearing to lose interest with every passing match, their A Block assemblage lacked any sort of spark before Tanahashi put ‘The King Kong’ out to pasture with a match-winning High Fly Flow.

Tanahashi’s quietly remained in contention of winning the entire block, though without yet contributing a match-of-the-tournament contender since his Night One fight for survival with Minoru Suzuki.
