In the Best of the Super Juniors tournament final, Will Ospreay managed to halt the undefeated streak of Shingo Takagi. Along with the victory came the Super Junior trophy and a shot at Dragon Lee’s Junior Heavyweight Championship at Dominion.

Osaka bore witness to why the junior division is at its all-time peak with Dragon Lee and Will Ospreay's jaw-dropping bout. Early on, Lee launched like a missile to the outside, sending both competitors over the guardrail. Later, he landed a top-rope double stomp onto an inverted Ospreay on the apron. However, the most incredible moment saw Will land on his feet after Lee's hurricanrana to the floor. Eventually, an Oscutter and Storm Breaker earned Ospreay his third IWGP Junior title.

The new champion subsequently dared NJPW officials to put him into the G1 Climax as he continues to blur the lines between the heavy and junior weight-classes. However, before that, Ospreay will defend his IWGP belt against Robbie Eagles at Southern Showdown. The Australian native defeated Ospreay during the BOSJ tournament - thanks largely to El Phantasmo's unwanted assistance. In Melbourne, Eagles will look to prove he can handle Will by himself, while Ospreay will surely continue to prove he's the best competitor today regardless of weight division.
