NXT: 10 Worst Creative Decisions Of The Full Sail Era

8. Beck Lynch's Irish Dancing Gimmick

Before she became the "Lass Kicker" Becky Lynch struggled to find her identity on NXT.

Starting out as a punky rock 'n' roll chick, she would go on to be Sasha Bank's partner/lackey before breaking out into a solo babyface earlier this year with an awesome new look and innovative submission style. However, before all that, her first few appearances in NXT in 2014 saw her dancing her way to the ring like an Irish folk dancer.

Yes, in 2014.

It wasn't exactly racist (that honor goes to Christian for attempting to bribe Sheamus with a potato), but it was extremely lazy cliched booking at it's worst. It was as if someone decided that Lynch's nationality was enough of a gimmick.

Thankfully it was dropped within two weeks.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
