Following on the heels of Jazmyn Nyx announcing her WWE exit, Edris Enofe has now revealed that he's left the market leader.

Enofe took to X last night to reveal this news, explaining how this is something he's contemplated for a while, that he's going to trust his gut with this decision, and thanked his fans and everybody he worked with during his time in NXT. Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline reports that Edris requested, and was seemingly granted, his WWE release.

As alluded to in the above video, Edris Enofe signed with WWE in 2021 following a successful tryout during SummerSlam weekend that year.

A US Navy veteran, Edris had wrestled just one official match prior to signing with WWE, though he quickly debuted on TV for WWE 205 Live in November 2021, facing off with future tag team partner Malik Blade. Enofe and Blade would start teaming by the following January, and they'd get to the semi-finals of that year's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing to MSK.

Edris Enofe and Malik Blade last teamed up in June, with Blade then undergoing surgery in October for a torn ACL and meniscus. Since then, Enofe has largely been used on NXT live events or in WWE Evolve, even competing for the vacant WWE Evolve Championship. His most recent match for the company was in July, where he lost to Lince Dorado at an NXT house show.

Already, Ricochet has seemingly dared Edris to head to AEW, so it remains to be seen whether he'll land in Tony Khan's promotion, be that for a one-off or something more permanent.
