NXT Stand & Deliver Set For 11am Day 1 Of WWE WrestleMania 38

It's looking like a long, long Saturday on WrestleMania Weekend.

While recent years have seen WWE make WrestleMania less of a slog by splitting the event over two days - as opposed to one long-ass eight-hour day - there now comes word that Day 1 of 'Mania 38 is going to be a hefty one for those in Dallas, Texas for WrestleMania Weekend.

As per the usually reliable @WrestleVotes, the current plan is for WWE to run its NXT Stand & Deliver II special at 11am on the first day of this year's Showcase of the Immortals, with the event emanating from Dallas' American Airlines Center - the same venue which had over 16,000 in attendance for WWE Great Balls of Fire back in 2017.

There had been previous rumblings that Stand & Deliver II would take place on one of the days of WrestleMania 38, and it appears that will indeed be the case.

It's previously been suggested that this NXT event will be a three-hour show, meaning that it should wrap up by 2pm local time. For those wondering, the first leg of WrestleMania 37 started at 8pm, with the kick-off show beginning an hour early.

If using last year's Granddaddy of Them All as a guide, that means there should be a five-hour break between the end of Stand & Deliver II and the start of the WrestleMania 38 kick-off show. Each day of WrestleMania in the two-night format has tended to run for three-and-a-half hours, meaning it will certainly be a busy day for those keen to take in both the Stand & Deliver II and Day 1 of WrestleMania 38.
