NXT Takeover: 10 Things We Are Most Excited To See
6. Adrian Neville's Latest Title Defense
NXT champion Adrian Neville has both wowed and underwhelmed on occasion but as of late, he has shown a tendency to deliver his finest performances in high-profile, high-pressure situations. His two title matches against Bo Dallas were very good, the ladder match at Arrival was a perfect cap for that show and his bout against Brodus Clay on a recent episode of NXT made fine use of the monster vs. underdog formula. When he steps into the ring with Tyson Kidd at May 29, there will be no formula, no ladder match gimmick to lean on. Instead, he will share the ring with a wrestler that is every bit his equal and then some. Two above-average wrestlers competing for the top prize NXT has to offer should result in a display of athleticism that would be extremely difficult for any other match on the card to duplicate. If Neville can pull off what he did with the likes of Clay and Dallas, he is more than capable of delivering a show-stealing match with the last graduate of the famed Hart Dungeon.
