NXT TakeOver Brooklyn IV Tyler Bate Kyle O Reilly

Result: O'Reilly and Strong blast Seven with the Total Elimination to retain (18:06).

Rating: This was an explosive start to the show that wasted no time whatsoever. The performances were kinetic and extremely physical, especially an electric Tyler Bate, who became the easy MVP with that powerbomb submission breakup.

Some fans will take umbrage with Kyle O'Reilly kicking out of Bate's Burning Hammer/Knee Drop combo, but it's basically justified by the damage Bate's knee took over the course of the match. Regardless, a minor blip in a match that very nearly stole the entire weekend.

The crowd were red hot, it had amazing kick-outs and was pretty much a note-perfect opener. 9/10
