Michael Hayes had a ball cutting some pre-taped promos for NXT over the past couple of weeks. As 'Handsome' Dok Hendrix, the ol' Freebird was in his element, and it'd be great to see him revisit the role for TakeOver this Sunday.

Dok could even team up with Pettengill to send that cheese factor through the roof.

This sounds so strange, but your writer would genuinely be disappointed if Hayes didn't show up after appearing on telly for the past fortnight or so. He needs to be there, but he definitely needs to slick back the hair and go all suave (instead of old-school rocker) this time.

Hendrix could play a major role in Gargano's entrance, or he could interview a few wrestlers backstage with trademark gusto. Sure, some young kids will be wondering who let grandad roam around, but this is an unapologetically retro-friendly show anyway.
