7. Dakota Kai Almost Costs Raquel González
NXT's bookers have done everything they can to rebuild Ember Moon into the force she was before WWE called her up to Raw and proceeded to ruin her. Now, a few years on from that nightmare, Moon is in a better place and back in the mix for top titles.
She ain't winning this one though.
Like Bronson Reed and MSK, Raquel González is just too fresh as a champion to lose quite yet. That, however, doesn't mean the company can't sow seeds for a feud that seems inevitable. Here, Dakota Kai can accidentally get in the way when she's trying to help her partner make light work of Moon.
After roaring back for the win, González can pull her arm away from Dakota and give her the look. Then, over the next few months (heading into the next TakeOver), WWE can start motoring towards Raquel vs. Kai one-on-one. Expect them to lean on some Bayley vs. Sasha Banks formatting for that.
