2. NXT Women's Title: Asuka (c) Vs. Ember Moon

Result: Asuka takes Moon's head off with a Roundhouse Kick to retain her title (12:10).

Rating: This was an almost-great match with an interesting sting in its tail in the final stretch. Asuka did stellar work putting her opponent over as a legitimate threat for the title, and the fact she had to cheat to win shows a much-needed crack in the champion's armour, likely ahead of a full-on heel turn and eventual loss of the title.

Moon gave a tenacious performance throughout and could've convincingly come away with the win, but the shenanigans finish worked extremely well for all involved. One of Asuka's best and most fiercely-contested matches to date, and the inevitable rematch should be a doozy. 7/10
