NXT TakeOver Philadelphia: 6 HUGE Predictions You Need To Know

5. Undisputed Send AoP To The Main Roster

The Undisputed Era Authors Of Pain

Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish have been NXT Tag Champions for two months, having defeated Sanity at NXT's November TV tapings. Them and Adam Cole have since come to dominate the developmental brand as The Undisputed Era. They're everywhere at the moment, with all three making seamless transitions from the indies to the sport's biggest stage, their momentum will continue to grow.

They face a hefty challenge in The Authors Of Pain this Saturday. Akam and Rezar earned this opportunity by flattening the Street Profits a few weeks ago, and as the brand's most dominant tag team and former champions themselves, they'd have a great chance of taking the gold under normal circumstances.

This should be another cracking match, but the outcome isn't in doubt. Derailing Fish and O'Reilly's momentum by having them lose so early in their run would be completely unnecessary, and having done all there is to do in developmental, it's time to move the Authors up. They'll put Undisputed over here, then head to the main roster soon after, where they'll likely have their appeal smothered under a dollop of 50/50 booking, bad writing, and overexposure.

Winners: The Undisputed Era.
