Rating: Velveteen Dream continues to prove why he's one of NXT's most promising and entertaining rising stars in a match that offered few surprises and lacked a little in the chemistry department, but was still a solid bout all the same.

It was never better than its red-hot start, and it's fair to say that the rest of the match could've been tidier given the number of botches. Things didn't gel quite how you might've hoped, but it was a decent see-saw match regardless, and did exactly what it needed to. 6/10
