These lads deserve it.

Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde have been tearing it up alongside Santos Escobar in Legado Del Fantasma. They're actually one of the hottest emerging teams in the entire promotion right now, and it'd be a sign of WWE's faith if they were booked to take that Dusty Rhodes Classic cup away with them.

Ciampa and Thatcher would probably be most people's picks to win here, and maybe rightly so. That's why they shouldn't win. They'll head for an inevitable split and feud at some point, whereas Del Fantasma fit neatly as a settled unit who will stay that way for a long, long time.

It'd be great to see WWE give the cup to heels again too. Somehow, it just feels better when villains get to stroll around with a trophy rubbing it in everyone's faces. That's surely what Mendoza and Wilde would do if they got the 'W' here.
