The former Mae Young Classic competitor escaped unscathed.

WWE developmental wrestler Rachael Evers was involved in a road traffic accident with a drunk driver yesterday.

That's the bad news. The good news? She's fine, and appears to be uninjured:-

After tweeting the above, the 26-year-old claimed that she had been able to chase the culprit down to get a picture of them and their license plate so that they can be reported to the authorities and, presumably, charged.

A lucky escape for Evers, who only signed with WWE in January 2019 despite appearing as an enhancement talent on several occasions over the previous three years. The daughter of legendary manager Paul Ellerring, Evers was also part of the 2017 Mae Young Classic tournament, beating Marti Belle in the first round before falling to Abbey Laith at the next stage.

Evers is yet to make television since becoming a full-time WWE employee. She has, however, been a regular fixture on the house show circuit, competing against the likes of Deonna Purrazzo and Kacy Catanzaro, and teaming with Mia Yim and Io Shirai on occasion.

Let's hope that Evers isn't adversely affected by the situation and that the alleged drunk driver is brought to justice.
