ODB Interview: Returning To IMPACT, Knockouts Division, Food Truck, AEW, More

How has the food truck business been going for you?

2020 was my best year and now I'm in Florida with it, so I'm at Daytona bike week right now. I got my brand new food truck, so I thought outside of the box and became the ice cream woman: I went to neighborhoods and fed people.”

What brought you back to IMPACT other than wanting to be champion again?

I've never been done with wrestling and obviously IMPACT has always been my home. I've never burned a bridge and they've always contacted me saying, "Hey, you want to get back in the ring?" I was like, "Hell yeah, my outfit still fits, so I'm good." It gives me a break from the food truck, so I actually like going on an airplane and going to wrestle.

Does it feel like home every time you've been back?

It's been great because going back, you have Eric Young, Deaner, The Good Brothers, James Storm... It's like, "Oh yeah, it's like the good old days." That's what I love. We've all known each other for, oh my gosh, at least 20 years, so it's good to catch up. I'm at a stage in my life where I love wrestling with the younger girls because they're very hungry and trying to get their name on the map whereas I've already done that, so I'm in a good stage where I'm just having fun now. No need to be nervous, let's go out and put on a good show.
