Edge became the 15th victim of The Streak at WrestleMania XXIV, when he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to The Undertaker.

The rivalry didn't end there though, as the two men stayed at each other's throats throughout the summer.

Things came to a close at SummerSlam 2008, when the two bitter enemies were given the ultimate feud-settler - Hell in a Cell.

In the show's main event, the two men knocked seven bells out of each other in a match befitting of one of the best storylines of the year. After a grueling fight, a Tombstone from The Deadman finally put his rival down for the three count.

But he wasn't done there.

After being put through hell for months at the hands of Edge, 'Taker decided to return the favour. He lifted up Edge's battered body and carried him up a ladder, before sending him crashing through the ring canvas with a demonic Chokeslam.

As if that wasn't enough, Taker then got down from the ladder and summoned a jet of flame from inside the crater that Edge had left.

In the words of Jim Ross, Edge had been send "straight to hell".
