Despite both being staples of WWE, The Undertaker and the Royal Rumble match didn't have the best of relationships before 2007.

He had been eliminated from previous Rumbles by the likes of Giant Gonzalez, Rikishi, and Maven and between 1994 and 2001, he didn't appear in a single Rumble match.

Nevertheless, all those bad memories were banished on this night when The Phenom finally overcame his Rumble curse.

One year on from his chariot entrance at Rumble '06, The Undertaker entered the Rumble match itself from the Number 30 spot.

'Taker got straight to work, throwing out The Great Khali and MVP before coming face-to-face with an old foe - Shawn Michaels.

Reigniting their legendary rivalry from the '90s, 'Taker and HBK basically had a singles match to decide the winner of the Rumble, throwing everything they had at one another until The Deadman countered a superkick and dumped his opponent over the top rope.

After 17 years, 7 tries, and 27 eliminations, The Undertaker had finally won his first Royal Rumble match and became the first man ever to win the match from the final spot.

A history-making moment indeed.
